This ‘end-of—life’ (EOL) announcement will act as the official written notification that AI-Media Technologies has now commenced the EOL process for the Encoder Pro (HD492) with internal modem. The following EOL schedule is confirmed:
- Final date for manufacture & sale of new Hardware Encoder (HENC): June 1, 2025
- Final Date HENC able to be returned for repair: June 1, 2027
- Final release date for new firmware upgrades & software releases: December 1, 2027
- Final release date for new security patches: May 30, 2028
- End-of-Life date: June 1, 2028
