  • Show Password
  • New Password

Security Modes

Available security modes are:

  • Debug: The encoder's default security setting. It allows SSH, ping and access without a password to the configuration web page from computers on your network.
  • Password: Sets the website to HTTPS for secure communication, and requires a password to log into the site. The default username is admin.

Note: This mode is not available on AV610 encoders.

  • Locked: Highest security setting. Disables SSH, ping, and the configuration web page.

Viewing and Changing Passwords

To view your current password for the configuration website, navigate to Security > Show Password.

To change your auto-generated password, select Security > New Password. This immediately makes your previous password invalid. If you are currently logged into the configuration webpage with the previous password, the system requires you to login again with the new password.
