AI-Media released LEXI DR version 6.2.0 on August 5, 2026. This document provides information about this release and includes instructions for upgrading your LEXI DR from version 6.1.0 to version 6.2.0. 

Before You Begin

If your system is currently on a version earlier than 6.0.0, follow the upgrade steps in Version 6.1.0 Release Notes before continuing. 

Highlights

New Features

Disaster Recovery Syncing

• Mid-session time extensions made in the cloud are now reflected on your DR. Previously, extending an event after it had already started could result in the DR session ending at its original scheduled time. The DR now keeps its end time aligned with the cloud.

Improvements

Performance and Responsiveness

• Improved responsiveness of the web interface, particularly on LEXI DR systems that manage large volumes of synced data such as access codes, instances, topic models, etc.

UI Enhancements

• The DR Sync page has improved status messages and overall UI improvements across platform configuration settings.

Resolved Issues

• We have corrected the license grace period countdown so that it displays consistently and accurately over time.

Upgrading to Version 6.2.0

This upgrade brings LEXI DR currently running software version 6.1.0 to version 6.2.0, with all the latest changes. All user settings and logs remain untouched and accessible after the upgrade completes.

Upgrade Instructions

Follow these steps to upgrade to version 6.2.0:

1. Stop all instances running on your system.
2. Download the version 6.2.0 upgrade file to a computer on your network. 
3. Log into your system's web interface and then navigate to System > Settings > Upgrade to install the file.
   • During this process, please disregard any system notifications that appear.
   • This upgrade takes approximately 10 minutes to complete.
   • Once the upgrade has been uploaded, leave the unit untouched for a minimum of 5 minutes to allow the update to finish writing to disk.
4. After the 5-minute wait, reboot the LEXI DR unit.
5. Once rebooted, conduct a hard refresh
   • The Dashboard webpage will display Build Version 6.2.0, confirming the upgrade was successful.
6. Navigate to Disaster Recovery (side menu) and enable this feature. 
   1. If credentials were configured prior to the upgrade, they will carry over automatically.
   2. If credentials were not configured prior to the upgrade, you will need to enter them now.
7. Once your credentials are validated, trigger a manual sync or wait up to 10 minutes for the automatic sync to run.
8. Once the manual or automatic sync has completed, perform a hard refresh of the Dashboard webpage to ensure the latest data is displayed.

Important: If Disaster Recovery credentials were already configured prior to upgrading, LEXI will enter an Available (grace period) state immediately after the upgrade. Please allow up to 24 hours for LEXI to move to a fully Available state.
