LEXI AD supports all common video formats. If you need support for a specific or unusual format, just submit a case and we'd be happy to discuss it with you.
LEXI AD preserves original video quality when using compatible codecs. To ensure the system copies your video without transcoding it from input to output follow these steps:
- Select Customise audio description generation (item 1 in the image below) and Original with AD in the Output Files section (item 2) when you create a LEXI AD order.
- Use an input video codec used that is supported by mp4 output, which is LEXI AD's video output format.
Note: These codecs below are not compatible with mp4: av1, cineform, dnxhd, prores, rawvideo, rv10, rv20, rv30, rv40, theora, vp8, vp9, wmv1, wmv2, wmv3) - Click Submit.
