Many Ai-Media services require an access code to connect Ai-Media products and services to communicate with each other on your network. Follow these instructions to use your iCap Admin account to add a new access code.
Adding an Access Code
To add an Access Code:
- Log into iCap Admin with your admin user login credentials.
- In the left toolbar, click Access Codes.
- In the top toolbar, click the + icon. The Create Access Code window opens.
- Enter a Name for New Access Code, for example
New_S1_Code
.
Note: Be sure to enter this name correctly. You cannot change this name once you finalize the access code. - From the CC Service menu, select a service number, for example 2, and then click Next. The options in this menu correspond to S-service numbers. For example, 2 corresponds to service number S2.
- In the Associated Encoders screen, select the Primary Encoder user to link this access code to. If you do not have an encoder user, contact Ai-Media Technical Sales for help.
- Select optional Secondary Encoders, and then click Next. The Captioner Permissions screen opens.
- If you are using LEXI, LEXI Translate, or LEXI Voice, select the caption provider EEG Lexi ASR. Otherwise, optionally add any captioning providers you want to share the access code with. You can select multiple providers.

Click Next, then review your new access code, and then click Finish or click Back to make changes. iCap Admin returns to your list of access codes, where you can find or search for your new code.
