Using Network-Activated Licenses

Users activate and validate their licenses for CC Play, FilePro, Scribe, Alta and other EEG products through an internet connection.

To use network-activated licenses:

1. Grant outbound access for HTTPS (TCP port 443) to the AI-Media primary licensing server from the machines running the licensed software. On any computer where typical web browsing works properly, there are no special licensing setup requirements. 
2. If you are allowing this outbound connection only through a special firewall exception, add licensing.eegapis.com to the firewall's allow list.
3. If your firewall's allow list only supports fixed IP addresses, or does not update DNS frequently, you can use the host name or IP address of our proxy licensing server instead.
